Save the Date: SB to Host Meet & Greet for Town Manager Finalists

Today, the Town of Hopkinton announced that the Select Board will hold a Meet and Greet Session on June 20th to offer Hopkinton residents and employees the opportunity to interact with the finalists for the position of Hopkinton’s next Town Manager. The Hopkinton Public Library will host the session from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

The names of the finalists has not been announced, but will be provided to the Select Board on June 13th following the completion of reference reviews by Community Paradigm, the consultant contracted by the town to perform the search.

“We are very interested in having community members engage with the Town Manager finalists,” said Brian Herr, Chair of the Hopkinton Select Board. “We value the input of all of our residents and employees in the Town Manager selection process.”

The finalists that are brought forward to the Select Board were selected by a Town Manager Screening Committee with a resident, two members of the Personnel Board, one member of the Select Board, the School Superintendent and the HR Director.

The Town Manager finalists will be available for approximately two hours during the Meet and Greet Sessions to meet residents and employees and answer questions about themselves and their experience.
