HOPKINTON — August 30, 2024, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hopkinton is pleased to announce that Reverend Mary Rosendale has been appointed Vicar at St. Paul’s. Since September 1, 2021, Rev. Rosendale has served as Priest-in-Charge for St. Paul’s and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Westborough. The unique collaboration between the two churches will continue, with Rev. Rosendale now serving as Rector at St. Stephen’s and Vicar at St. Paul’s. Rev. Rosendale previously held the position of Interim Priest at St. Stephen’s before becoming Priest-in-Charge.
“My responsibilities and commitment to St. Paul’s and the collaboration remain unchanged,” Rev. Rosendale stated. “St. Stephen’s has called me to be their Rector, and according to the Episcopal Church, a priest cannot serve as Rector in two dioceses simultaneously. Therefore, I will assume the title of Vicar at St. Paul’s. I look forward to serving both churches for many more years.”
