HOPKINTON: The Girl Scout Cadette Troop 82358 is working on completing their Journey Badge by helping Project Just Because (PJB) recruit volunteers.
“We need more volunteers,” Walsh told them.
Each year, PJB helps over 900 families in need with food, clothing and basic household necessitates so they can live a better quality life. Volunteers serve a vital role in fulfilling this outreach to the Hopkinton and surrounding communities.
The Troop identified potential volunteer groups and asked them what inspires people to volunteer. The Troop documented those responses and they are creatively presenting them along the Center Trail.
We hope these Girl Scout designed hearts will inspire you or someone you know to volunteer at Project Just Because. And maybe you will find your “just because.”
The hearts will be displayed on Center Trail October 6th through October 27th.
Contact information can be found on each heart or at the Center Trail entrance, across from Hopkinton Lumber, on Main Street. You can also call Project Just Because at 508-435-6511 or email the volunteer cordinator.
