September 9

  • Officer Quinzani responded to a CO alarm activation. There was no smoke or fire and upon arrival, the fire department reported no hazards.
  • Officer Buentello helped a disabled vehicle on West Main St. until AAA arrived.
  • Officer LaTour responded to a hit and run on Main St.
  • 911 caller reported she was rear ended.
  • Bus driver reported a car go into the woods by Hayden Rowe St. AAA was contacted.
  • Caller reported two small dogs running around the road on Wilson St.
  • DPW was notified of a large tree down on South Mill St.

September 10

  • Caller reported hearing a male party outside his residence. Officers Schofield and Quinzani responded and confirmed it was an Amazon delivery driver.
  • 911 caller reported a verbal argument between a landlord and tenant.

September 11

  • Caller reported a male party walking around trying to get into one of the units. He turned out to be the brother of the property owner.
  • Officer Walker assisted a walk in with a civil issue. Peace was restored.
  • A vehicle that was reported for driving erratically on Main St. was gone by officers’ arrival.
  • Officer O’Neil spoke with two cars that were reported to be talking side by side making it difficult to pass. The drivers said they’d be more courteous.

September 12

  • Officer Santoro spoke with students about a parking complaint of not parking where they are supposed to.
  • Caller reported a phone was left on the high school track. The owner was contacted and came to get it.
  • Walk-in reported construction vehicles blocking the bike lane.
  • Walk-in reported his motorcycle was taken sometime within the last two weeks. He noticed when he came back from vacation.
  • 911 caller reported a older man walking with a cane was in the roadway. Officer Beloin ensured he was okay.
  • Officers Burchard and Schofield informed a man shooting cans that he could not do that in a public park. The man went on his way.
  • Walk-in reported her social security number had been compromised.
  • 911 caller reported a vehicle operating on the sidewalk on Cedar St.

September 13

  • Officers Diaz and Walker responded to an accident on Granite St.
  • Caller reported speeding motorcycle on Lumber St. Officers could not find the vehicle.
  • Walk-in turned in a phone found on Ash St.
  • Officer Walker assisted a caller who reported a vehicle hit his in the last 24 hours. Officer Walker looked for suspect vehicle and obtained camera footage.
  • Caller reported contractor theft on Huckleberry Rd.
  • Walk-in reported possible phone scam. Officer Diaz gave assistance and advise.

September 14

  • Caller reported seeing a dog with a leash attached running across Elm St. Officer Quinzani returned the dog to its owner.
  • Caller reported a man hitchhiking on Cedar St. who seemed in distress.
  • Officer O’Neil assisted a party trying to get into the bathroom.

September 15

  • Animal control was contacted about a loose black lab on East Main St.
  • 911 caller reported an erratic driver on Elm St.
