  • On October 4, Chandrasekar Marimuthu of Hopkinton was arrested on charges of:
    • Speeding in violation special regulation
    • Operating under the influence – liquor
  • On October 4, Pranav Gill of Hopkinton was arrested on charges of:
    • Negligent operation of motor vehicle
    • Operating under the influence – liquor

September 30

  • Officer Buentello and Diaz responded to a report of an aggressive, erratic operator passing in a no passing zone and tailgating on West Main St.
  • State PD were informed of a motor vehicle accident on I-495N with no personal injuries. Officers responded.
  • 911 caller reported a bus versus truck accident on Brook Hollow Ln. There were no injuries or damage.
  • 911 caller reported a possible drug deal on Mayhew St. Officers Burchard, McNeil, and Schofield responded and found a grandfather and a daughter practicing driving and they were just switching seats.

October 1

  • Caller reported a suspicious male hanging around the school. The caller gave a description, but upon further investigation, the man turned out to be a maintenance worker.
  • Caller reported a possible active shooter at the high school. A call came in on the Veterans hot line reporting there was a man in the bathroom with an AR style rifle. The police responded and units performed a sweep of the building. The building was clear and the school resumed normal operations.
  • Woman reported a man with jeans and a gray shirt knocked on her door looking for help. Officers located the man on West Main St. and offered a courtesy transport.
  • Officer Burchard handled a situation in which a driver was smoking weed and dozed off at a light.

October 2

  • Caller reported a operator watching TV on her phone while driving and not maintaining a lane.
  • Caller reported a construction company was moving her utility lines and she did not want this. Officer McNeil responded and spoke to both parties.
  • Caller reported her neighbor shocked her dog with an electric dog training device. Officer Buentello responded.
  • Officer Buentello responded to a report of an on-going noise complaint of a party honking their horn in the morning at 4AM.

October 3

  • Caller reported a vehicle on School St. had no plates and substantial damage. The caller was concerned.
  • Officer Schofield took a report that a student loan was taken out in a caller’s name.
  • Officer Ziniti received a report of a bunch of kids on mini bikes riding in the street on Revolutionary Way.
  • A motor vehicle accident occurred on West Main St. that left one vehicle on their side.
  • Caller reported she lost her wallet, possible in the state park.

October 4

  • Caller reported an inside odor of natural gas.
  • Walk-in wanted to report a scam call she got. It was a New York number stating she won a prize of $10,000/week for life, a car, and a check. She wanted the call logged.
  • 911 caller reported someone hit a gas line. Eversource arrived on the scene.
  • Officer Walker issued a parking warning for a vehicle parked in the middle of Walcott St.
  • Caller reported some kids playing ding dong ditch on Roosevelt Ln. The caller was unsure if they were from the neighborhood.
  • 911 caller reported a vehicle almost hit a couple of trees and cars coming head on. Officer McKeon caught up to the vehicle and spoke with the operator. He stated his eye contacts were drying out. McKeon followed the vehicle home.
  • Caller reported a puppy had been outside since 5PM. A message was sent to animal control.

October 5

  • Officer Walker checked on a vehicle parked the wrong direction. The operator pulled over to make a phone call.
  • Caller reported a branch in the roadway of West Main St. Officer Ziniti removed the branch.
  • Walk-in came in concerned about having given her address to someone on Facebook Market Place. Officers spoke with her and her husband.
    Westborough PD was notified of an erratic operator headed their way.
  • Walk-in wished to report a call she got from someone claiming to be from Bank of America.
  • Caller reported they were locked inside the state park.

October 6

  • Officer McKeon responded with the fire department to a residential fire alarm activation. Everything checked to be okay, the owner just was not sure how to turn it off.
  • 911 caller reported an erratic operator heading into town from Ashland. Officers pulled over the vehicle and the operator stated they were avoiding potholes.
  • Caller reported her ex was outside her house throwing rocks at her window.
  • 911 caller reported a Golden Retriever on the loose on School St. Officer Burchard responded and returned the dog to the owner.
  • Officer Burchard checked on a vehicle on the side of the road. The operator stated they were not feeling well but eventually went on their way.

October 7

  • Caller reported a suspicious incident in which an important item might have been stolen from inside her house overnight.
  • 911 caller reported an erratic operator that was unable to maintain lanes. Milford PD was notified that the vehicle was headed for them.
  • Teds responded to a reported of a vehicle parked in a bad spot and towed the vehicle.
