With all of the holiday parties, this week’s arrest report is a good reminder that drinking and driving rarely ends well.

ARRESTS

  • On December 16, 44 year old Leah Goodwin of Hopkinton was arrested on charges of:
    • Leaving the scene of Property Damage
    • OUI – Liquor over .08%
  • On December 17, 28 year old Jeffrey Stone of Northbridge was arrested on charges of:
    • Marked Lanes Violation
    • OUI – Liquor over .08%
  • On December 18, 22 year old Jenna Byron of Upton was arrested on charges of:
    • OUI – Liquor over .08%

December 12, 2022

  • Sergeant Brennan responded to a call from Upton PD of an erratic driver on I495-S. The vehicle was gone on arrival.
  • Officer McKeon assisted with an accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
  • Sergeant Brennan assisted the fire department on School Street with an alarm activation due to cooking.
  • Officer Ekross took a complaint of a dog barking on Mount Auburn Street. Animal Control was advised.

December 13, 2022

  • Overnight parking violations were issued on Blueberry Lane, Connelly Hill Road, Primrose Circle, and Baldwin Lane.
  • Officers responded to a crash on West Main Street. No injuries were reported.
  • A 911 caller reported a fox acting strangly in Ashland. Ashland PD was advised.
  • Officer McKeon responded to an Elm Street caller reporting a suspicious person at the school. It was confirmed that this was a test and all was well.
  • Officer Firth assisted a walk-in reporting mail that seems fraudulent.
  • Officer LaTour assisted a truck driver who was stuck on Macadam Road.
  • Officer David took a complaint from a caller on Pond Street that reporting vehicles speeding excessively in the evening hours.

December 14, 2022

  • A winter parking violation was issued on Mayhew Street and John Matthew Road.
  • Officers responded to a report from the Cumberland Farms manager who heard what sounded like a woman screaming and another person walking the fence line next door. The area was checked with a negative find. Other employees were spoken with an no one else heard or saw anything. Officers planned to reach out to UniBank for camera footage to see if a vehicle or person were in the parking lot at this time.
  • Officers responded to an Old Farm Road caller who reported a strange noise outside their residence. The area was checked with a negative find.
  • A caller reported a 2-car accident on West Main Street. No injuries were reported, but a child was being evaluated. A tow truck was dispatched to the scene.
  • Officers assisted with a single car accident vs. a pole. Verizon was notified of low-hanging wires.
  • A 911 caller reported a 2 car accident on Granite Street. No injuries were reported.
  • Officer Stewart assisted a caller who reported vandalism to his property.
  • Officer Alexander took a report of a deer flailing in the road on Ash Street. The animal was gone on arrival.

December 15, 2022

  • A caller reported that a vehicle had been parked at a gas station since the previous night and seemed lost. Officers responded and contacted Grafton PD, who had more info on the party.
  • Sergeant Brennan assisted with a vehicle parked in the road. The car had a flat and will be fixed and removed.
  • Officer Staback took a report of an injured dog on Hayden Rowe. The area was checked with a negative find.
  • Officer Staback responded to a 2-car accident on Mayhew Street. No injuries were reported.
  • Officers responded to a Pendulum Pass caller who reported that a package he was supposed to receive was delivered to another address.
  • Officer Normandin assisted a Walcott Valley Drive caller who stated that a suspicious person was at her door and she felt scared. The area was checked with a negative find.

December 16, 2022

  • Officers responded to a 911 caller reporting someone trying to open her door. The area was checked and all seemed OK.
  • A Walcott Valley Drive caller reported an outside odor of natural gas. Units on the scene reported that the odor was coming from a vehicle leaking gasoline. Officers attempted to locate the owner.
  • A caller reported a lost drivers license.
  • Officer Burchard took a call regarding a tenant dispute. He advised the party to work through the courts.
  • A 911 caller reported an erratic operator on Main Street. Officers pulled the vehicle over and checked. No impairments were found, and a verbal warning was issued for marked lane violation.
  • Officer Burchard happened upon a disabled motor vehicle on Wood Street and assisted with the tire change.
  • A Lumber Street caller reported a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.
  • A 911 caller reported an unoccupied vehicle crashed into a telephone pole. Officers responded, arrested the driver, and transported her to the hospital for evaluation.

December 17, 2022

  • Multiple officers pulled over a vehicle on West Main Street for driving erratically. The operator was arrested for OUI.
  • A walk-in reported that he’d found a drivers license. The owner was contacted.
  • A Pinecrest Village landlord reported that a tenant dropped off her deposit and left their dog behind.
  • Officer Proctor took a reported from an Alprilla Farm Road resident who claimed to have been bitten by a loose dog while jogging. Animal Control was notified.
  • Officers responded to a car vs. deer crash on Whisper Way. No injuries were reported, and there was minor damage to the vehicle.
  • The Pinecrest Village landlord called police again regarding a tenant dispute. They were referred to the courts as this is a civil matter.

December 18, 2022

  • A caller reported a single car vs. a pole accident involving a female with unknown injuries was reported on Hayden Rowe. The car was smoking. Multiple officers responded. The wrecker was called and Verizon was notified of damage to the pole. The operator was arrested for OUI.
  • Officer Stewart reported that a vehicle had backed into his cruiser. No injuries were reported.
  • A West Main Street caller reported that her wallet may have been stolen. Officer McKeon took the report and advised the caller on how to protect against future fraud.
  • Officer Proctor took a call of a deceased deer on the side of the road on Whisper Way. Animal Control was advised to remove the deer.
  • Officer Grimley took a report from a Saddle Hill Road caller of possible stolen property.
  • Officers attempted to serve a warrant on Rosewood Lane but were unable to make contact with the party.
