Arrests

  • On August 5, Leonirio Bartnik of Seekonk was arrested on charges of:
    • Operating under the influence – liquor
    • Marked lanes violation

August 5

  • Officer Walker helped an 18 wheeler that was stuck on Elm St. A tow was enroute.
  • Caller reported a large black dog walking on Hayden Rowe by itself. Officer Burchard responded but could not find the dog.
  • 911 caller reported a minor motor vehicle accident on West Elm St. with no injuries. Officers responded.
  • Officer O’Neil responded to a report of a blue Subaru Crossover going through a red light on Fruit St. and heading into on coming traffic. O’Neil couldn’t find the vehicle.
  • Caller reported a possible party on Front St. where teenagers were parking on both sides of the road leaving little room for traffic. Officers checked on the home and the homeowner informed the officers the kids would be leaving.

August 6

  • Officer Ziniti responded to a report of a branch in the middle of Lumber St. but could not find the branch.
  • A two car motor vehicle accident occurred on Main St. There were no injuries.
  • 911 caller reported their smoke alarms were sounding but her husband was able to shut them off. They wished to cancel any response from the fire department but the fire department responded while they were clearing other calls.

August 7

  • Caller from a business stated a strong odor of gas. Eversource found a leak out back and fixed it.
  • Caller reported a dispute regarding his dog.
  • Officer Buentello spoke with a woman that reported her recycling bin was stolen overnight on Teresa Rd.
  • A party came in to see if an officer could come by her house the next day to show her 6 year old son the cruiser for his birthday. Officer Diaz spoke with the party.
  • 911 caller reported a party having a suicidal thoughts in Framingham. Framingham PD was contacted and responded.
  • Millbury requested assistance with a party they have in custody.

August 8

  • Officer Ekross came upon a possible hit an run. He reported the vehicle heading into Westborough and let Westborough PD know.
  • Walk-in reported an ongoing parking complaint regarding handicapped parking spots.
  • Walk-in reported stolen/missing packages.
  • Three officers responded to a 911 call/text of a possible fire in the woods by South St. They eventually found the report was a prank.
  • Caller reported she though she heard a crash on Wood St. but did not see anything except a sign taken down.

August 9

  • Caller reported a tractor trailer hit a stump on Winter St. and blew out the rear tires. DPW was notified.
  • Several calls came in reporting smoke alarms going off but not seeing any smoke.
  • Officer Beloin checked on two trucks that were broken down on West Main St. Both were okay and had help on the way.
  • Walk-in reported an erroneous charge on her bank account.
  • Eversource was notified of trees down on Fruit St. on wires.
  • 911 caller reported he and a homeowner agreed he would do work on the home for $510 and after the work was finished, the homeowner did not pay him.

August 10

  • Caller reported trees on wires on Front St. Eversource was alerted.
  • A rabbit got stuck in a net on Fruit St. After cutting the net to let the rabbit free, an officer noticed it was severely injured and animal control put the rabbit down.
  • Caller reported someone jumped behind his vehicle and pretended to be hit. He was rolling around on the ground and then got up and left.
  • Caller reported a dog in a Jaguar SUV on Hayden Rowe St. for a long period of time. The vehicle was gone once Officer Buentello arrived.

August 11

  • Animal control was informed of a dead raccoon on Cedar St.
  • Walk-in brought a hawk if got from the highway. Animal Control came to take care of it.
  • Walk-in turned in a phone that was found on the Common.
  • Officer Quinzani checked on some kids on Pratt Way. They said they were looking out for a meteor shower that was supposed to happen that night.
