A few arrests, a pair of missing toddlers and a nervous neighbor calls 911 on kids planting Easter eggs in this week’s police blotter.

ARRESTS:

  •  On April 3, Bridget Malley of Framingham, MA was arrested on charges of:
    • Marked Lanes Violation
    • Oui- Drugs
    • Oui- Liquor
    • Drug, Possess Class A
    • Drug, Possess Class C
    • Drug, Possess, Class E
  • On April 14, Jonathan Moser of Shelburne Falls, MA was arrested on charges of:
    • Oui Liquor over .08%
    • Speeding Rate of Speed Exceeding Posted Limit

April 3, 2023:

  • A motor vehicle accident was reported on South Street. Officer Diaz responded, and no personal injuries were reported.
  • Multiple officers responded to a second motor vehicle accident on South Street. The car had hit a light pole. A tow truck was called and a crash report was taken. No personal injuries were reported.
  • A caller reported a possible theft of intellectual property. Officer Ekross spoke with the party, answered questions regarding the incident, and took a report.
  • Officer Firth spoke with parties that were involved in a possible harassment on Hayden Rowe Street. A report was taken.
  • A caller reported a suspicious incident on Wood Street. Officer Ekross responded and spoke with the staff involved in the incident. The incident was checks with a negative find.
  • A caller reported two young kids speeding down Hillcrest Drive towards Hayward Street on motor bikes. Milford was responding. An officer was out in the area of Lakeshore Drive, Downey Street, and Sandy Beach. They were checked with a negative find. Another caller also reported the same two kids. She stated that she was out for a walk with a friend and her friend was bit by the dog because of the loud noises. The friend was to go to urgent care to get the bite taken care of.
  • Sergeant Schofield responded to a report about stolen property on Mchugh Lane. The involved individuals were asked to vacate the residence. The caller believed that there were at least three residents on the property. Sergeant Schofield contacted the calling party to receive additional information.
  • A West Main Street caller reported that her employee stole her 16 week old Bernedoodle. A report was taken.

April 4, 2023

  • A walk-in reported hat he had found a knife while on a run on Cedar Street. The property was turned in.
  • Multiple officers responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a school bus on Cranberry Lane. No personal injuries were reported.
  • A husky was reported roaming in the area around West Main Street. Officer LaTour responded, and the husky was gone upon arrival.
  • Multiple callers reported a three car motor vehicle accident on East Main Street. Personal injuries were reported. Two parties reported neck pain. A crash report was taken.

April 5, 2023

  • No reports for this day. All quiet.

April 6, 2023

  • Sergeant Brennan reported a warning that was issued to a tree service on Winter Street that was working without a detail.
  • A walk-in reported that they were receiving threats and being stalked.
  • A walk-in reported tax return fraud. Officer McKeon spoke and checked with the party and referred them to Auburn PD.
  • A caller reported that he had discovered unemployment fraud while filing a tax return while filing a tax return. Officer LaTour spoke with and took a report.
  • A 911 call reported that a vehicle almost ran him off of the roadway on Oakhurst Road. Officer McKeon checked to the town line with a negative find on the vehicle. Upton PD was contacted and would be responding.
  • A student was reported bring a suspicious metal object onto a bus on Hayden Rowe Street. A report was taken.
  • Officer Beloin spoke with a calling party who reported black Range Rover speeding through Stoney Brook Road around 3 o’clock. The car was going around 50-60 miles per hour.
  • A person reported a possibly bullet hole in their front window on West Main Street. Officer LaTour took a report.

April 7, 2023

  • Officer Grimley checked in and spoke with with four youths walking down West Main Street. One of the juveniles was reported to live nearby and the group was walking to his house. All was good.
  • A 911 caller reported a dead deer on the sidewalk of Wood Street. Animal Control was notified.
  • A caller reported that she found personal property while out on her walk on Wood Street. It contained a license and credit cards. Officer Staback returned the items and reported that the property was in the hands of the owner.
  • Heavy trucks were reported passing over a bridge on North Mill Street. Officer Normandin spoke with the involved.
  • A walk-in reported a prior breaking and enter on Mount Auburn Street. Officer Firth responded and took a report.
  • A caller reported a two car motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. Officer Salentik responded and took a crash report. Both vehicles were on their way.
  • A one car motor vehicle accident in Legacy Farms North. The driver was bleeding from the head. A tow truck was notified and responded. Verizon was also contacted because the pole was cracked at the base. Multiple officers responded and took a report. Officer Beloin provided the party with a courtesy transport.
  • State Patrol requested a BOLO for a vehicle involved in a hit and run on I-495. Multiple officers checked the area and a vehicle was found matching the description. The State Patrol was was notified and was to be responding.

April 8, 2023

  • A clerk on West Main Street reported that he just confiscated a fake ID and wanted to speak with an officer. Officer Staback found the male party who used the ID and was enroute to speak with him.
  • Multiple officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. Upon arrival, an officer reported that one lane of traffic had to be shut down. One vehicle was reported to require a tow truck. Cars were towed and no personal injuries were reported.
  • A caller reported that a large sign was in the road between the first and second lane of travel on I-495 S between the Pike and West Main exit. The State Police were notified and were already enroute.
  • A caller reported kids in the neighbors yard in Hearthstone Road. The caller stated that it looked like the kids were throwing things. Multiple officers responded, and the kids were reported to be hiding Easter eggs for a fundraiser.

April 9, 2023

  • An employee from Alltown Fresh called 911 to report a customer who got angry and threw a pack of cigarettes at him and then left. The caller just wanted the incident logged and said that it was not an immediate threat. Officer Diaz responded and took a report.
  • A caller reported a man was putting a fence on his property on West Main Street. Officer Staback responded and took a report.
  • A 911 caller reported a vehicle was driving erratically on Woodview Way. Officer Normandin responded and checked the area with a negative find up to the Upton town line. Upton was advised and would be sending an officer.
  • Sergeant Schofield reported a suspicious vehicle that was parked at the Islamic Center on Wood Street. The vehicle was stopped by multiple officers.

April 10, 2023

  • A walk-in reported a lost musical instrument. Officer Staback spoke with the party and took a report.
  • Upton PD called to report an erratic operator coming into town via West Main Street. Officer Ekross was dispatched but was unable to locate the vehicle.
  • Officer Staback assisted someone who reported that he got a ticket from Providence, RI but he believed that it was a mistake because does not own the vehicle listed on the ticket. He was instructed by Officer Ekross on how to resolve the issue.
  • A caller reported that there were a lot of vehicles parked on South Street and employees were unable to park. They wanted someone to go down and check for parking violations. Officer Ekross was able to solve the problem for the time being.
  • A caller reported a drone flying over her and her granddaughter at her front lawn on Hill Street. She just wanted to be logged for future references. Dispatcher Matos assisted the party.
  • A reporting party wanted to speak to an officer about being threatened. They needed to make a statement about a previous incident.
  • Multiple officers responded to a report of kids going in and out of an abandoned house on Mount Auburn Street. Two juveniles and a female were transported home.
  • Officer Salentik assisted someone who wanted to report fraud.
  • A caller reported bark mulch smoldering on East Main Street. Officer Salentik responded and was investigating the situation.
  • Multiple officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. No personal injuries were reported.
  • An unfriendly big white dog was reported roaming around Ash Street unleashed. Multiple officers responded and checked the area with a negative find.
  • Multiple vehicles were reported doing tire burnouts in a parking lot on Lakeshore Drive. Officers responded and checked the area with a negative find.

April 11, 2023

  • A 911 call reported a male party shouting on West Main Street. The man also struck another vehicle with a stick. According to an employee/witness, the man did not seem well and was acting out. The man was reported to have left the parking lot and went onto I-495 northbound. The State Police were advised to be on the lookout.
  • A 911 caller reported a speeding vehicle on the Mass Pike. The State Police was contacted and was to be responding.
  • Two missing two-year olds were reported on Wood Street by a 911 call. Multiple officers responded and were enroute. Officer Walker reported that the missing children had been located nearby and all units were standing down. All parties involved were spoken to and a report was taken.
  • A walk-in reported a tinted license plate cover on a vehicle. Officer Firth spoke with the party and took a report.
  • A caller reported wires were down over Main Street. Multiple officers responded and reported that they were removed by the DPW.
  • A caller reported a civil dispute with a dog in Legacy Farms North. Multiple officers responded, and the party was advised to take the civil dispute to court.
  • Multiple officers responded to a report about an Asian female wearing dark pants and a dark shirt walking around her property on Lyn Path. Multiple officers responded and checked the area with a negative find.
  • A vehicle was flagged down on Macadam Road. The vehicle was reported to have just been shot by a BB gun. Multiple officers responded and checked the area with a negative find. Officer Walker spoke with the party and took a report.
  • A 911 caller reported roadside domestic dispute on West Main Street. Multiple officers responded and spoke with all parties involved. A female refused to give information and denied that the dispute had occurred. A report was taken.
  • A caller reported that workers vehicles were blocking Saddle Hill Road making it unpassable. Officer Beloin responded and reported that there were two vehicles parked on the side of the road not blocking the roadway.
  • Sergeant McNeill was flagged down on Lumber Street to help deal with an unruly customer. The party had had too much to drink and his keys were taken away. He was waiting for a ride.
  • A walk-in wanted to report identity theft.
  • A caller reported that her 14 year old was missing on Revolutionary Way. A report was taken.
  • A party reported that someone had left a typed letter in her windshield on West Main Street and wanted to speak with an officer about it. Officer LaTour assisted and took a report.
  • A party complained that while driving around Riverbed Road, he was constantly tailgated by people while he is going the speed limit (which is not posted). He wanted more patrol in that area and suggested to have speed signs put up.

April 12, 2023

  • A party reported that there was a tree down on Glen Road that was blocking the road. Officer McKeon responded and was able to move the branch off of the road.
  • A Hayden Rowe Street resident reported a wire down outside of her house. Officer McKeon responded and reported that the wire was running from a pole to house. It seemed to be a telephone wire. All was good.
  • A party reported a telephone wire that needed to be wrapped as it was hanging down on Main Street. Sergeant McNeill responded and completed a check.
  • Multiple officers responded to a report about parties that were engaging in inappropriate activity in a car on Constitution Court while children were around. The activity ended, and a report was taken.
  • A party on Elizabeth Road reported that they heard someone walking outside of their house. Multiple officers responded, and the area was checked and secured.

April 13, 2023

  • A caller reported that someone was trying to tip over a porta potty on Ash Street. Multiple officers responded and checked the scene. It was just painters playing a prank on each other.
  • Upton reported an erratic operator. A motorcycle was operating around another motor vehicle on West Main Street. Multiple officers responded and witnessed the motorcycle operating okay.
  • A South Street caller reported that an employee was trying to dispute their last pay check. Sergeant Burchard responded and took a report.
  • A caller reported a truck that had bottomed out on Wood Street. Traffic assistance was requested, and multiple officers responded.
  • A teacher from Elmwood School reported a 2nd grade boy missing. The boy got on the bus but didn’t get off at the right stop. Multiple officers responded, some to the home address and some to the school, and the boy was located at home and was all set. He had gone to a different part of the building. Officer Beloin checked in with the chid and the parent. All was good.
  • A bus driver reported 3 cars parked somewhere where they shouldn’t be on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Ekross responded and the vehicles were removed.
  • Officer Beloin checked in on a vehicle that was being towed on Main Street. The vehicle was all set and was not a hazard.
  • A resident of Ash Street was complaining of a dog next door that was barking all day. Officer Beloin responded and spoke with the party.
  • A caller reported that a vehicle on West Main Street had been running for over an hour with its lights on. Officer Salentik responded and contacted the registered owner who reported that the daughter had the vehicle but had gotten a ride to school and forgot that it was running. Officer Salentik waited or her to come back and was all set. The party was advised that it was a violation.

April 14, 2023

  • A caller reporting a van driving at an excessive speed on West Main Street. The party then called back while multiple officers were enroute stating that the van got onto I-495N. The State Police were contacted and made aware of the complaint
  • A report of a white Jeep full of teenage girls was speeding through Turnbridge Lane. The caller reports they have been spoken to before. Officer McKeon responded and the car was gone upon arrival.
  • A Pine Island Road caller reported a neighbor issue. Officer Staback assisted the party and gave them options on what to do.
  • A 911 caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Main Street. Multiple officers responded, and one party reported having neck pain.
  • A walk-in showed concern for a couple of dogs fenced in on Cedar Street. The party believed that it was too hot for the dogs. Officer Salentik checked the area and reported that the dogs appeared to be fine.
  • A caller looking for insight on a potential restraining order on an ex co-worker wanted to talk to an officer. Officer Ekross spoke with the party and advised her to contact Framingham District Court and to call back if situation keeps occurring.
  • A caller reported a bunch of kids at Whitehall that had left the place trashed. She stated that she had told them to pick it up and they said no. She was able to get a plate. Officer Beloin responded and checked the area with a negative find.
  • A caller reported seeing vehicles that didn’t belong on Lakeshore Drive. The party stated that they didn’t have parking passes even though they didn’t need them until 5/27. Officer Beloin checked and stated that everything was okay.
  • A caller reported that he was doing some landscaping on his property on Riverbed Road at about 5:30. A party from across the river in Southborough was able to hear the work being done and was not pleased with the noise and threatened the homeowner, stating that “if this were to happen again, he was going to pull out his chainsaw and make their lives miserable and a living hell”. Operator Cifuentes asked if the party wanted to talk to an officer but he declined and stated that he just wanted the incident logged in case of a future problem. The party was advised to call back is any other issues occurred.

April 15, 2023

  • A 911 caller stated that she believed she heard her door open on Leonard Street and thought that she heard someone inside. The call was dropped and the call back was not answered. Multiple officer checked the home with a negative find.
  • Operator Walker assisted a party who requested information on an immediate threat. The party was advised to contact the DMV.
  • A caller reported that he saw a coyote on Jackson Street and was concerned because it was daytime. Animal Control was advised of the situation.
  • A caller reported that a women had opened her door on Davis Road asking for a cigarette. The party said no and asked the women to leave. Officer Staback responded and spoke with the reporting party.
  • A 911 caller reported that her A/C unit briefly caught fire on Lowell Drive. The caller confirmed that the fire was out and the unit was outside. Officer Normandin responded.
  • Officer Normandin responded to a complaint on Ash Street of a neighbor running a loud piece of equipment. The area was checked, and the reported party was just mowing a lawn, which does not warrant any police involvement.
  • Multiple 911 calls came in for a vehicle that had driven into a tree. Officers responded and reported that a male had a severe laceration and was transported to UMass Medical. Officer Normandin was to be issued to a summons at a later date. Ted’s towed the vehicle. A report was taken and would be filing charge at a later date.

April 16, 2023

  • A 911 caller reported a trailer was stolen on West Main Street within the past hour. Officer Staback responded and took a report.
  • A 911 caller reported a low hanging wire on Spring Street. Officer Salentik responded, and Verizon was notified and was to be responding.
  • A 911 caller reported a family causing a disturbance on Lumber Street. Multiple officers responded and checked for the family with a negative find. The units explained options to staff in case the family returned.
  • A walk-in reported a septic smell was coming from Loop Road. It was a possibly Porta Potty leak. Sergeant O’Neil responded and checked the area with a negative find.
  • A West Main Street caller reported a lost debit card. The caller was advised of ways to prevent fraud. The debit card is a blue Middlesex Savings bank card.
  • Sergeant O’Neil responded to a report about a case of illegal dumping on Cedar Street. It was a box that appeared to be discarded children’s clothes. Sergeant O’Neil put the box in a clothes donation box. All was set.
  • A 911 caller reported a black lab running in the road on Willams Way. Officer Normandin responded and checked the area with a negative find.
  • A 911 caller reporting a motor vehicle accident on Pond Street. Multiple officers responded and reported 4 juveniles had evacuated the vehicle. 1 party had head trauma and an arm laceration. A Verizon pole was snapped in half. Verizon was notified, and there was property damage at a residence on Pond Street.
