In her first season, Junior Loryn Canty shined with a blistering 7.68 finish in the 55 meter dash. This editor noted that Canty posted this time without the assistance of starting blocks and with training shoes on. Fans can expect to see her times improve throughout the year.

Senior Wyatt Ruff showed well in the 1-mile event, finishing with a time of 5:00.13.

Hopkinton was strong in the field events too. Andrew Budden and James MacCarthy competed in the High Jump. MacCarthy would go on to win with a height of 5′ 6″.

Sophomore Josie Hopkins competed in the Long Jump.

By the end of the night the Hopkinton girls had already secured their victory, but for the boys the outcome remained uncertain. It would be decided by the last event of the evening, the 4×400. The Hopkinton team was comprised of Russell Perryman, Owen Fitzpatrick, Ruben Noroian, and Luke Boothroyd, and they faced an equally strong Holliston 4×400 team.
