In response to the swatting incident on Tuesday, October 1, and a recent occurrence on Loop Road, Hopkinton Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Carol Cavanaugh, in collaboration with the Hopkinton Police Department, has decided to close the high school (HHS) track and the surrounding fields, including the tennis and basketball courts, during regular school hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Accordingly, in an effort to better ensure student safety, we are asking that residents refrain from using the HHS track and fields as well as the tennis and basketball courts during the regular school day, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.”
