HHS Students raise money for Habitat for Humanity

Published on

On Saturday, Hopkinton High School students invited children and families to make gingerbread houses at the High School to raise money to benefit Habitat for Humanity. In all, more than $550 was raised, and demand was so strong they had to turn people away at the door.

Samantha Breen, a Sophomore English Teacher at Hopkinton, advises the Habitat for Humanity Club. “This is one of our most successful fundraisers throughout the year,” said Breen. “The kids are so cute, and it’s great to see so many people from the town come to support it.”

Club members that helped plan this event were: Brian Gu, Bharat Mekala, Allison Chen, Avani Daga, Shrika Bellidiga, Roma Tewari, Zach Krymgold, Prithvi Venkatesh, Brianna Mallouh, Hana Ruran, Neil Abraham, and Sean Mcgowan.
