Hopkinton residents are advised that a required fire flow test will take place on Wednesday, March 29 at approximately 9:30 AM. Crews will be conducting the test in the Hayden Rowe area.

Because these tests will take place on main transmission lines, some customers may notice discoloration during and after the tests throughout town. Please avoid doing any laundry, dishwasher loads or other water use activities during this time. Any discoloration that may occur will eventually dissipate.

The Water Department advises you to check your water before using it. Residents may be required to run their cold water lines to clear their internal pipes after the test is complete.
