SUMMARY:A Visit with Isabella Stewart Gardner
DESCRIPTION:Join us as character reenactor Jessa Piaia presents a dramatic portrayal of Isabella Stewart Gardner. \nThe drama is set in 1910\, seven years after the opening of Fenway Court\, which Mrs. Gardner designed and built for her extensive art collection\, and willed to the City of Boston upon her demise. A recognized leader of Boston’s emerging salon scene\, Mrs. Gardner\, with characteristic verve and candor\, relates episodes about her luminous circle of family and friends\, relives her journeys to faraway lands\, and shares other potentially scandalous encounters. \nThe portrayal runs approximately 45 minutes in length\, with an informal and interactive Q&A to follow. \nThis program is sponsored by Garden Club and co-sponsored by Hopkinton Public Library.

SUMMARY:EVERSOURCE ENERGY OPEN HOUSE - UNDERGROUND CABLE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
DESCRIPTION:Eversource Energy invites members of the Hopkinton and Milford communities to attend a series of in-person and virtual events to discuss a proposed underground electric transmission cable replacement project along Purchase Street (Milford) and a portion of South Street (Hopkinton). The proposal is part of a larger project program Eversource is conducting throughout our service territory in Massachusetts related to underground cable modernization. This initiative is designed to modernize cable infrastructure\, improve restoration times\, and ensure long-term energy reliability by replacing existing underground gas filled (HPGF) electric transmission lines with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) electric transmission cable technology. Information about the project is available in Spanish\, Portuguese\, and other languages upon request. For more information\, please visit https://bit.ly/HopkintonMilfordUCMP.
