Band is a student/faculty rock band from Milford High School that was formally started circa 2002 by history teacher Joe Brucato\, aka “Joe B.” \nThe band consists of students and various Milford High School faculty members. Currently\, the band is directed by history teacher Dustin Santomenna\, who has co-directed the band with Joe B. since he retired from teaching in 2015. The band rehearses on Fridays throughout the school year and summer. It has a repertoire of 30-50 songs from the 1950s to the modern day\, playing an eclectic mix of classic\, 80s\, 90s\, and contemporary rock and pop\, everything from The Beatles to Harry Styles to Journey to Bruno Mars. This is not your typical high school garage band. The current band features 11 students and even includes a horn section.

DESCRIPTION:Erin Harpe has been called “one of the most dynamic\, talented and exciting roots rocking blues women on the scene” by Living Blues Magazine\, and her award-winning band\, Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers\, is known to get crowds grooving with their unique sound\, dubbed “Boogie\, Blues & Beyond.” \nTheir distinctive performances center around Erin’s exceptional fingerstyle blues guitar playing and soulful vocals\, with a sound that harkens back to the time of juke joints – a Blues/Roots/Americana cocktail – with some modern funk\, rock\, and world music mixed in. Featuring Jim Countryman on bass\, Shawn Meehan on drums\, and Bobby Mroz on harmonica and keyboard. \nThis show is part of the Summer Concert Series held in our outdoor amphitheater.
