She grew up loving long days on the beach and this craft allows her to continue to spend time on the shores of New England watching the sunrise and searching for unique materials. Everyone is welcome\, and no partner is required. \nWear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can move in. \nInstructor\nMori Granot-Sanchez\, based in RI\, is the founder & director of Rhode Island Latin Dance\, a dance school she started in 2012. In 2017 she launched her professional dance team\, RILD-Synergy. \nMori currently teaches weekly salsa classes at the Brown University Salsa Club\, she directs their performance team “Alma Salsera”\, and runs various after-school dance programs and classes throughout the State for inner-city youth in high schools for art credits. \nMori is a dancer\, teacher\, choreographer\, and performer who focuses on salsa as a teaching tool for self-development and inclusivity. \nCurrently\, Mori is teaching and performing with her own dance company and collaborates with different artists through various dance projects.

Moving past charcoal exercises we will talk about graphite\, the range of pencils available\, and learn the steps on how to draw transfers from images to canvas. \nSkill Level \nAny level welcome\, but this program is particularly good for beginners and professionals. \nInstructor \nKeara McHaffie \nMaterials \nAll materials are included. \nAbout Keara \nKeara is a New England based artist who received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from The Art Institute of Chicago. Her work explores childhood memories and home life. She utilizes color in evocative ways to illustrate her experiences\, whether good or bad. She focuses on large scale oil paintings that revolve around constructed memories from her adolescence to adulthood. She will be receiving her Masters in Arts in Teaching and Learning of Art and Design\, from The Rhode Island School of Design in May 2025.

Band is a student/faculty rock band from Milford High School that was formally started circa 2002 by history teacher Joe Brucato\, aka “Joe B.” \nThe band consists of students and various Milford High School faculty members. Currently\, the band is directed by history teacher Dustin Santomenna\, who has co-directed the band with Joe B. since he retired from teaching in 2015. The band rehearses on Fridays throughout the school year and summer. It has a repertoire of 30-50 songs from the 1950s to the modern day\, playing an eclectic mix of classic\, 80s\, 90s\, and contemporary rock and pop\, everything from The Beatles to Harry Styles to Journey to Bruno Mars. This is not your typical high school garage band. The current band features 11 students and even includes a horn section.
