DESCRIPTION:Audition for this acapella ensemble that will perform at the December Treblemakers concert. If accepted into this program\, there will be a class registration fee of $335 for ten classes. The instructor is Sharon Broadley-Martin. \nThis ensemble is offered to those singers who would like to refine their musical talents in an unaccompanied (a cappella) ensemble. Everything from Madrigals to Barbershop Quartets to Bach chorales to DooWop to jazzy tight-harmony groups like Singers Unlimited and Pentatonix will be explored. Past experience in a choir is helpful. Any level of reading music is important to this ensemble. \nThursday\, Sept. 5 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. It is not necessary to bring a prepared piece to sing.
