SUMMARY:Dementia Friends Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Attend a Dementia Friends Information Session to help break the stigma associated with the disease. \nResidents of all towns are welcome! This session is suitable for adults of all ages and children in middle school and older. \nYou’ll learn the five key messages\, the different types of dementia and their impact\, what it’s like to live with dementia\, and the small things you can do to make a difference. You’ll also learn about the extensive resources and support that are available for care partners and to help people with dementia have a more fulfilling life. \nTurn your new understanding of dementia into practical action that can help someone with dementia living in our community. Actions can be as big or as small as you choose – because every action counts! Everybody can help make their community a safer\, supportive\, and more inclusive place for people living with dementia and their care partners. \nPlease reserve your seats by calling the Hopkinton Senior Center (508) 497-9730. If you have questions or want additional information\, please contact Sam Docknevich at sdocknevich@gmail.com.
