Construction Advisory for the week of November 4th to November 8th, 2024

Please be advised that this schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the tasks below. This work may impact traffic and require lane and sidewalk closures limiting access to driveways and entrances to businesses.

  • Amorello will be onsite Monday and Tuesday
  • Finalize walkway work at 35 and 77 Main Street on Monday and Tuesday
    Paving at Hopkinton Gas on Tuesday
  • Awaiting schedule from Eversource to begin overhead to underground services
  • Awaiting schedule from Verizon to complete overhead utility transfers on
    the west side of the project.

Detours or Alternating Traffic will be used as necessary.

  1. Advisory sounds like a broken record for last 2 months . Who’s the Project Manager. New select board assured us this project was going to be completed by Nov 2024. Not a chance . No accountability

    • HopNews reached out to the town manager to see if we could find out the name of the project manager. This is what we found out:

      David Daltorio, Town Engineer/Facilities Director, is the Town’s project manager. That being said, it is a State (MassDOT) project, and they are the entity that has contracted out the project and manages the contractors. MassDOT also has project managers.

      Dave Daltorio and Michelle Murdock are the Town contacts for the project.
